Colombo Swimming Club

A single wood-floored court inside the club on Galle Road, and one of the better playing surfaces in central Colombo. The catch is access: this is a members’ club, and there is no walk-in rate. You need to be a member, be signed in as a member’s guest, or take temporary membership — which itself requires an existing member to propose you. The court runs 6 AM to 9 PM on a first-come, first-served basis rather than by reservation, so with only one court a busy evening can mean waiting. Bring your own shuttles, as the club does not supply them, and proper court shoes are mandatory and enforced. Coaching can be arranged on request.
