Find a court

Badminton courts near you.

11 verified halls across 7 cities, with real rates, opening hours and the floor and ventilation details nobody else publishes. Share your location to jump to the nearest, or pick a city below — both work.

01By city

Where we have verified halls.

Counts are what we have checked ourselves, not everything that exists.

Still on the call sheet: Negombo, Matara, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Badulla, Ratnapura. We would rather show nothing than publish a hall we have not checked.

02The directory

Every hall we have verified.

Listed in full. If you already know roughly where you are going, this is faster than filtering.

03Questions

Questions people actually ask.

How do I find a badminton court near me in Sri Lanka?

Pick your city from the list on this page, or share your location and we will point you at the nearest city we cover. Court density drops off sharply outside the Western Province, so in much of the country the nearest hall is a short drive rather than a walk.

Do I need to allow location access?

No. The location button is a shortcut, nothing more — every city and every venue on this site is listed and linked whether you use it or not. We do not store your location; it is used in your browser to pick a city and then discarded.

Can I just turn up and play?

Mornings and early afternoons, usually yes. Between 6 and 9 PM nearly every hall in and around Colombo is full, and walking in at that hour rarely works. Call ahead if the evening is your only option.

How much will it cost?

Roughly LKR 500 an hour at the cheapest municipal halls up to several thousand at private venues, charged per court rather than per player. Split four ways, most courts work out cheap for an hour of hard exercise.

Nothing near you?

Coverage outside the Western Province is thin and we know it. If you play at a hall we have not listed, tell us — listings are free and there is no commission.
